MEET MAURICIO
A still-life studio built for small, brilliant objects.
Behind Figueroa is Mauricio Figueroa — a two-time Latin Grammy–nominated producer and mastering engineer who has run his own Miami studio since 2005. He earned an engineering nomination in 2007, and another in 2025 for a record he produced, mixed and mastered. The same ear that masters a record down to its finest detail now trains that precision on light.
It’s an obsession with detail — controlling light carefully enough that a gemstone reads as a gemstone and a polished case reads as metal, not glare. That’s why brands, independent jewelers and boutiques bring their pieces to the studio: when the product deserves better than a phone on a windowsill, and when the image has to carry the price tag.
